Default Sisowath Quay rooms with a view?

Hi All,
Can anyone recommend a clean hotel or guesthouse along Sisowath Quay road in Phnom Phen that has a view of the river from a private balcony - in the US$ 30 to $40 price range. Basic requirements are AC, Hot and cold water, minibar, TV (safe would be nice) .... nothing too fancy but not too downmarket either.

I've been looking at The Crown & Anchor plus the Paragon Hotel so any comments from personal experience would be most appreciated.California 2 is also a possibility but rooms may be a little small or not so nice??

Buoganvillier and FCC are bit pricey and I've read mixed reports about the rooms being a bit noisy and some access problems with narrow stairs and no lift.

Thanks .... in advance

Thanks for the reply Phuketrichard,

I finally managed to get an email reply from Paragon Hotel .... waited 2 days and then tried to fax and then phoned to check their email address (now info_paragonhotel@yahoo.com). Was told fax "not working" and "haven't checked internet today".

I think I have a reservation but will phone and email again the week before I leave.

I can't find much information on the Riverside .... do you think its better and / or has a reliable reservation system?

Stekmer

Default Paragon Review

The Paragon Hotel was basically fine.
I emailed the hotel again 2 days before arriving and they promised to keep a room.

The airport transferr they said would cost US$7 but the driver that they arranged wanted US$9 so I wouldn't bother doing that again - really only did it to try to ensure that a room would be waiting for me.

As it was I suspect that anyone arriving before me would have been given the room I requested - guess that how it goes.

The stairs are very very steep and with power failures 5 or 6 times a day you are bound to have to climb them at some stage.

I'd probbaly stay there again.
