Hi, folks! Thinkin about returning to Asia (from States)
date options are:
25 Sep-8 Oct OR
28 Jan-10 Feb
Must start from either NRT, HKG or BKK (airline emps flying standby on passes)
Goals are:
Primary Siem Reap (3 nts)
Secondary Bali or (insert your ideas here)
Tertiary Lao Prabang
Parameters:
We have little need to spend time in BKK--been there.
Minimal interest in Vietnam, bus travel, extended city stay or anything entailing a backpack or shared bath!
We don't shop.
We like culture and relaxation and history.
We're 50's, enjoy being spoiled but will rough it a BIT and, dare I say it?, get muddy.
We can buy standby refundable tickets for almost every airline but we have to do it before we leave US.
We can also use local travel agents to buy on site as req'd.
