Can anyone clarify what Senior means in online bookings for VietNam hotels
e.g. Deluxe room or Senior Deluxe.?
It appears on many sites and I'm not sure if it refers to pensioners or means a better room ???? :)

Pensioners??? oooooooooo noooooo - not there yet. I'm not actually sure what Senior Deluxe means but I'd guess that it's better than Deluxe in some way - maybe better decoration, newly renovated, bigger, better facilities, higher floor etc. Or maybe it just means that it has a window!!! a lot of hotels in Vietnam appear to actually have no windows (don't know why..maybe cheaper to build...... but sure sounds crazy to me) . The hotel we stayed in (Metropole) had this room category but we didn't get to see one as they were booked out.

Senior deluxe mean that is an high quality hotel
