Default Sapa

I'm trying to plan an itinerary......... Sapa looks interesting but looks as though it's a bit remote from the main arrival points.
Can anyone advise how to travel from Hanoi or Danang to Sapa? What are the options please? Thanks,
Kimbo

From what i can gather you can get a train to sapa. a soft sleeper and they leave at night.
i am looking in to flights to danang to go to Hoi an.
Been told that sapa is really nice.

Default sapa

sapa is quite nice, but it's quite touristy... I suggest getting really lost in Muong Khuong or Cao Son

you take the night train from Hanoi to Lao Cai and then you take a mini-bus from Lao Cai to Sapa.

You should check the days of the week you are going to head over there because you want to go and take part in carious minorities markets.

Sapa town is considered the second most popular attractions in the North Vietnam after Halong bay, it's quiet nice with the mountainous area, rice terraces, the hill tribes there,... but it's about 400 kms far from Hanoi - the capital of Vietnam, the arrival point. The best way to get there for tourists from is by train. You should take an 8 hour night train to Lao Cai Train Station and then take a bus 38 kms further to Sapa. If you are in Danang, you can fly to Hanoi and then go to Sapa.

Enjoy your trip!
