Cool handbags

Hi any body know if designer handbags and Tiffany style silver jewelry , original copies only , are available in Pattaya ?
Do not have time to stopover in Bangkok where we usually buy from the list my daughters et al give us .
Have not been to Pattaya for nearly 6 years and then , being Pattaya , shopping was not all that great .
Also we are staying at the Woodlands Resort , as they have wheelchair friendly rooms , am aware of position of hotel , stayed at Amari on last visit , nice easy wheel down into centre , should say push by my friends as I am on holiday !!!!! and any feedback on this resort will be welcome .
Thanks in advance for any and all replies , Alan

I can't help you with the info. about the bags and Tiffany-type jewellery, but I've stayed at Woodlands Resort (I've written about it on here awhile ago, so a search should show it )

Deluxe Terrace rooms are on ground level and have their own deck facing the pool. Access to the room is either from the deck or the main door along the open corridor around the back of the rooms.
The Superior rooms are in the wing out the back by the garden pool - there are ground floor rooms in these wings.
The Deluxe rooms are on the 2nd and 3rd levels (above Deluxe Terrace) and access is via stairway so would not be suitable for you.

There's a great bakery right beside the driveway - nice for when you're hanging around the hotel. They serve good coffee and made-to-order baguettes, pannini, croissants etc. as well as beer and fab cakes. You can sit inside or out.
I think this shop provides the pastries for breakfast buffet and the room service desserts.

As far as I am aware, I have not seen any authentic designer handbags in Pattaya - but, I do see those knock offs regularly. If you need well known International brands, you won't have much luck in Pattaya.

However the Thai brand, Fly Now (plus some other international brands), has an outlet on Sukhumvit main road in North Pattaya Area. If you drive from Bangkok, you wont miss it on your right. They have reasonable selection of fine leather handbags which are normally sold for about 8000-15000 THB ,, but you can get them for much cheaper there. There are also nice clothes and beddings, I normally shop a lot more in Fly Now outlet than I do back in BKK.

Hi Alan
We stayed in a deluxe pool terrace room in October and we loved our room. However, I did notice that there are two rooms that face the toilet block... the last 'loo view' room had a wheel chair access ramp from the deck to the pool area. If you have booked this room be aware and be prepared for it.
The ramps were made of timber and maybe can be moved to another room. Our room had NO steps from the deck whilst other rooms had... it was quite an effort to get up and down with my old dicky hips.
I had read about the 'loo view' views on another website and was worried we'd get them (knowing our luck) however, we didn't.
You might like to email the hotel ahead. Hope this helps.
Cheers Geri
