Default Whats happening with Phuket weather??

Hi, My sister rang in a panic yesterday saying that Phuket is contant rain and thunderstorms. I checked some weather sites and it does look a bit dismal, Mark checked out the Phuket Gazette and it is saying that Phuket is having an awful lot of rain at the moment!

Can anyone over there confirm this please? We are off in just 3 weeks time.

Please dont let it be bad!!!!

I Guess your sister is not here?

Don't trust any of the weather dorecasters for Phuket. It is nice and sunny weather already for a long time, just at the beginning of the week we had in the late afternoon a hefty shower.

When I arrived, in Thailand, second half of November, weather -forecasts were dreadful! Rain, cloudy for two weeks! Now this is only the end of the rainy season, so it could have been possible! (It was though two years ago, a month, with every day rain!) .

We had two cloudy days, and two day, wth very little rain the whole month!

Don't let it spoil your holiday, those weatherforcasts are made by jealous people, who cannot go on holiday them self!

Default Dont trust forecasts!

I spent some time in Phuket in December, and the forecasts predicted thunderstorms all day long every day. I can reiterate that the forecasts were all wrong, I did not have one full day of rain the whole time just a sprinkle now and then. Not sure why they cant predict the weather with all the modern equipment.

Now I just got back from Mexico and they predicted sunny and clear... well I did not have one single beach day the whole 2 weeks I was there even though the weather people said warm and clear every day. Now thats not nice, saying it will be sunny and then it rains. I think they do it to attract tourists.

Hope your people have good weather, Im sure they will.
