Can you get a massage on the beach in Pattaya (Jomtien) and Phuket like you can in Bali. If so, how much do they cost and for how long (I assume approx. 1 hour)?

certainly in Phuket you can, but I have no idea as to cost, sorry.

We stayed at the Rabbit at Jomtien Beach and there is HEAPS of massage places on the beach and along that stretch of the beach... it goes on for a few kilometres..
However, it is a gay beach and mainly very young male masseurs. But if you prefer a female masseur you might like to wander up near the Rabbit ... and across the road there are plenty of females (even an old chook or two)
From memory I took 500 baht (stuffed down the front of my bathers in 100's) I got a massage, toes and finger nails done for 400 baht. I probably paid too much but as I'd been very sick for the previous 6 days I was happy to join the Thai beach community and not haggle.
