Any suggestions for things to do in Bangkok on New Years Eve.

Wow, that's a tough call! It depends how much of a youngster you are yourself! If you want to have young fun in Bangkok, Khao San Road is the place at any time of year. Otherwise, lock your daughter in her room with MTV and faux beer and head for somewhere along the river would be my suggestion.
