hi does anybody know if you can access the pool area of the Hilton Hotel , Hua Hin , without using steps ?
I am a full time wheelchair user and when in Hua Hin a couple of years ago work was going on and i was told that ramped access was being planned , makes sense as they have disabled toilets etc . and ramps into hotel , whether this is just to make it easier for poerters i do not know , being a bit of a sceptic .
Have tried Hilton Hotels here in UK and they say contact hotel direct , waste of space comes to mind , did as they advised and copied it to Hilton head office over 3 weeks ago and nothing .

The access ramps were completed some time ago. From memory the ramps circumnavigate the front steps leading into the hotel and there is an access ramp to the lovely poolarea, although I recall it as being rather steep.

thanks , Hilton have just got back verifying ramped access to pool after nearly 8 weeks of requesting info and guess what , no availability for the period we want , and it was stated that early booking is advised in peak periods ! we wanted to stay in march and could have booked nearly 3 months ago if info was given , going to Phuket instead .
