Hi there, we are thinking of staying here in jan 08 and am hoping someone has some knowledge about this hotel (also looking at pimalai resort) While in phuket we are thinking about kata Palm, or burasari in patong- any information about these, good or bad, will be helpful. thanks.

We stayed at Pimalai last year, and had a wonderful time, we stayed in one of the sea level villa's, which was close to the pool and restaurant. The villa's up the top seemed to hard to get to with lots of walking up hills. The breakfast's were great and we had dinner there twice, we had the Thai Buffet one night which was very nice. The downside of Pimalai is once you get there, it is very expensive to go into town, so you are pretty much stuck there. I would suggest booking for 2 days with the possibility of booking for more, if you wanted. Saying all of that we stayed for 5 nights and when it was time to check out we didn't want to leave, I would go back there in a flash.
