We are travelling to Thailand in Feb, Hong Kong to Phuket and if someone could help us out as to how much is the allowable amount of alcohol we are allowed to bring into the country on our arrival at Phuket.

I think it is one litre per person,spirits that is.it would also serve you to check out the liquid laws at Hong Kong airport as regards to carrying them onto the plane.
Some countrys let you take liquids on as cabin baggage so long as they are purchased in the departure lounge other countries won't let you take any more than 100ml containers irrespective of where they are purchased.It's a ggot to do with the new security regulations.

I have travelled to thailand 8 times, The limit is 1 litre, however i have never been stopped and always have 2 bottles. What i do is put them in my bag. If you walk through the airport with bottles in a duty free bag you may well be stopped
