What happened to Chris's thread on his favorite Thai momments?
Anyway I might start a new one with my top 5.
*Hearing my toe knuckles crack half way through a 2 hour Thai massage, knowing that there is still an hour to go.
* Drinking Chang beer with friends from one of tho se 3 litre kegs with the tap on the front that they serve up at the Suan Luang night market food court.
*Dancing to Bob Marley covers played by the house band at the Reggae Pub in Chaweng.
*Ordering 8 different Thai dishes for a table of 4 at Kata Mamas at Kata Beach and the bill comes to 750 baht.
*Coming back to the room from an afternoon shopping spree at the MBK and lining my purchases up on the bed.

Mine are going to be somewhat limited to the one area of Thailand but here goes...

6. Ending up at some huge bar in Lamai and getting along famously with the bargirls - so much so, I ended up pole dancing with them and then serving drinks behind the bar to the customers ... all in my drunken splendor!!!

5. Finding Ned in Tropical Murphy's in Chaweng with a sparkly pink helmet on his head, finishing his 5th shot of jagr at 9.30 in the morning!

4. The very first time the girls and I wondered down Chaweng Beach in the afternoon and sat at the tables in the beach and tried our first Singhas and lazed from the beach, the the table, to the bar for the entire afternoon. Paradise...

3. The unknown. Never knowing what the day holds - not knowing who you'll meet, what experiences you'll have, where you'll end up - Thailand seems as if it's filled with possibilities.

2. Wednesday nights, Ark Bar Beach Party. Such a relaxed, cruisy and fun atmosphere with some of the greatest music I've ever heard. Good times were definitely had that night.

1. Walking towards Sunrise Beach the evening of the Full Moon Party. Reaching the opening to the the stretch of beach and being lost for words and the number of people, the electricity in the air, the music that was playing...and just not being able to wipe the smile off your face or being able to help move to the music...being completely overwhelmed and in awe...

They are my top 6 (sorry, I couldn't limit it to 5!). I could probably do a top 30 list though!!!! :)
