Hi,
If there are 8 of together - i guess u will have a lot of luggage, a few options from airport to hotel for u maybe are - get a mini bus so u are all together & arrive at hotel together- the costs from memory they charged 200baht a head ,but that was for dropping ppl off at different hotels at different beaches - maybe u can bargain with driver for cheaper price . - or taxis cost 500/600 baht - depending where u are going in phuket - & asking for meter to be put on will be cheaper, but u will need 2 taxis - but with large luggage pieces per person , taxi may not have enough room - if u only get 2 taxis - mini bus maybe better option if u can get a good deal on price

hope this helps - have agood holiday

Default Phuket Airport transfer

When in Phuket recently we hired a van from the taxi counter at the airport, and paid at the stand, from memory it was about 700 or 800 baht and there were three of us with luggage so a taxi was not suitable - we went to Horizon Beach Resort, Patong. For 8 of you two vans would be okay. Enjoy your holiday.

Default transport

Hi,

When we were in Patong we hired Mai to drive us. He is very reliable and his charges are very low. Send him an email and ask if he can fit 8 people with luggage as he has a van and a second driver with a car. He will probably be able to work something out for you. We found him to be much cheaper than other drivers, however we always left his driver a good tip as they were willing to fit in with you anyway they could. His email address is :

Best Wishes
Michelle
