Things to do in Phuket Hello everyone,
I am training at Tiger Muay Thai and have been living in Phuket for three months. As training has been my main focus, I have not ventured out much to see the island; in fact, I've basically stuck to Kata/Karon beach, Central (the mall), and everything around the Chalong circle. I also made a side trip to James Bond Island when I first arrived.
With that said, my friend from home is now living with me so we're trying to find things to occupy our free time. We're both kind of penny pinching and picking up work under the table here and there, so I was wondering if anyone could recommend some things to do that are inexpensive (preferably free). We're limiting more expensive trips (1000+ baht) to once every few weeks to a month.
Also if anyone could recommend things to do that are a little out of the ordinary (instead of the same old elephant rides, scuba diving, etc) that would be greatly appreciated too.
Thanks! |
