Hi all,
Can anyone share how much does it cost to take a bus or train from chiang mai to bangkok, and do I need any reservation in advance? Any overnight service?

Unless you really like trains I would look at flying. Air Asia has flights next year really cheap (as low as $75 Aust. return.
