Default Writer's Retreat?

Greetings all

I’m a try-hard writer, contemplating taking 12 months off work (the job that pays the bills) and finding a nice little place not too far from the beach at Ao Nang (a place I really like) to write my next oscar-winning screenplay. All I’m really after is something clean and basic, a bed, a fridge, a view would be good, a western-style dunny and, as mentioned previously, an easy walk to the beach and town. Does anyone have any suggestions?

PS – Ali, don’t tell Scott should you bump into him!

Cheers, Phil

You will have to make sure that those trips into town don't side track you from why you are there - been to Ao Nang so I know how distracting they can be !
Nopparata area could be good.
Script writing doing well then.
Go for it Phil X
