Bali Palm Advice / info please

Hi

I'm flying to Samui from UK next weekend and I've a couple of questions.

Does any one know if I can book my luggage through to Samui? - I'm flying with Emirates via Dubai. In Jan I flew with BA and they wouldn't book my luggage all the way, so I had to go through imigration at Bangkok ....a pain!

Secondly if I bring in duty free alcohol to Bankok, am I allowed to take it on the internal flight to Samui as hand luggage? Again in January I could, but heard rumours they've brought in the 100ml limit for liquids, including duty free! Obviously I don't want to waste my money if my voddie is going to be confiscated.

Also is the new terminal open yet at Samui?

Looking forward to my return next weekend.

Kris

Default Duty Free

Hi Kris,
I can tell you that at Phuket in August they were confiscating anything over 100ml. This included water purchased after checking in and sitting in the lounge waiting to board. It was for a direct flight from Phuket to Australia so maybe it will not be the case for a domestic flight or at Samui.

Have a wonderful time - I'm jealous.

Kim

I think that you will be ok with checking your luggage straight through. We have flown with them a couple of times and I am sure that we have. surprised about BA we have friends that always fly with them and i am sure that they always do.
As for the drink can't help there but if you think there is going to be a problem then buy it at makro or tesco lotus when you get there.
You could try the bangkok airways web site email them. I did once about something and they came back pretty quick.
I am green with envy - have a really good time. 96 days until i go to Cuba ! I am not counting someone else is !!!! I would be if it was Samui.

We've checked straight through to Samui with BA in the past so there shouldn't be a problem.
