Hoping someone on here can give me some ideas please. (apologies if not exactly a Thailand question but I posted on the Cambodia forum last week, but have had no reply so am trying here).

We have our flights to Bangkok at Christmas but we'd like to check out either Cambodia or maybe Hanoi - not sure at the moment... just starting to consider. We have a week up our sleeves. We've never been to either place before so I'm trying to work it out.


Can anyone suggest the best way/best airline for flights to Cambodia and Hanoi from Bangkok?
For Cambodia should we fly to Siem Reap and then get to Pnomh Penh (sp??) or the other way around ? or isn't PP worth a visit?

If we choose Hanoi ,which airline would you suggest ?

On my opinion I would suggest the Thai Air Asia, this could meet your need. As Air Asia Flying mostly through out this region. visit them and you can do online booking with them airaisa.com

I'd hoped there was an alternative to Air Asia because a previous flight with them was less than good (!!) and we swore we wouldn't fly with them again.
Still, I see they offer reserved seats to those who pay a bit extra so might explore this option (at least it will mean we don't have to participate in the stampede for seats!!)
