Bali Palm Where else in Asia.

Hi all. I'm a great lover of Asia, and am looking at heading back there. Have already done Vietnam, Thailand, Cambodia, Malaysia and Singapore. Am after some convincing arguments about where my next trip should be. I'm interested in Myanmar and places similar to this- cheaper options are better. I'm probably flying Air Asia, so somewhere they go direct to is also a plus. Easy visa's are also a plus. Anyone got any places that are must see? I'll only be going for 5-6 days or so, so can't go too far afield.
Thanks very much,
Mark :)

Try the Philippines. If you need a visa or not depends on the passport you are using. From the US, UK, Oz and most of Europe you can enter without a prior visa. There is a departure tax when you fly home. Think it is 550 pesos.

You haven't been to Laos yet??

Do it. Don't think about it. Just do it.

Si Phan Don (4,000 islands) in the south (near Cambodia) offers a very relaxing and beautiful place to explore.

Myanmar offers some amazing coastline but visas aren't easy and you won't be able to fly with Air Asia (check the Myanmar forums). It's also a bit tricky with regards spending money but shouldn't be a problem for 5-6 days. Just make sure you take enough cash with you.

Indonesia is enormous and also very beautiful. Beware exploring remote islands as thar be pirates in those waters!

I got some bad food poisoning in Laos, it's not up top the standard of Thailand in many aspects, the hospitals are a nightmare. As long as you watch what you eat you should be ok, Luang Prabang is nice for the waterfalls
