We are considering visiting the Southern Islands in Jan 2013. We have been looking in the vacinity of Koh Lipe / Koh Mook etc. Can anyone give advice on additional islands for a couple who just want to relax and stay in good to great accomodation.

Koh Lanta is definitly also a nice place.
not too much people like in Phuket or on
the Phi Phi Ilands, nice beaches, good
restaurants, some nice pubs and clubs
and its great for dicover the iland by
a rented motobike because the
traffic is not so much. I enjoy it
every time to ride motobike
when i stay there.

Near to these islands you may like: Koh Phi Phi (despite of the fact that this island is so popular among tourists, you will find some calm and almost deserted beaches.

There is also Koh Lanta (but not that nice).
