I'm a 20 year old guy..heading to Thailand at the end of April, there through May until mid-June...
Anybody reading this going to be there at those times and interested in a "travel companion" for a bit? (Obviously providing we get on)

Also, do you reckon about £1500-£2000 will be enough for about 6-8 weeks budget travelling in Thailand?! I should imagine it will be as I know it's low cost, especially as I'm going off season...but I want to cover myself!

Hey, I get to Bangkok at the end of may. Also looking for people to hang out with. I spent 6 weeks there about a year ago, I reckon your budget is spot on. Obviously the more the better but it is super cheap out there. What's your plan when you get there? Do you know which regions/islands you want to go to?

You're both arriving at the end of May...couple of beers on a beach?
I've got a friend who was there last month for 4 weeks and she reckons that she spent about £1000..
Well when I get there, I'm going to spend a couple of days in Bangkok to acclimatise, then travel down to Koh Phangan for the May full moon party, spend some time chilling out on the beaches and partying, then go with the flow from there, I want to go to Chiang Mai, and maybe hop over to Cambodia to visit Angkor Wat for a few days...
But to be honest, I'm just going to go where the wind takes me, too much planning ruins the experience...
