Just booker for summer 2012

Booked yesterday for summer trip to BKK and Krabi. Last time in LOS was in 2007 and delighted to be going back.

any ideas for things to do in Krabi, day trips/ restaurants etc. Looking for a fairly relaxing time in Krabi after a hard year so will visit beaches and islands etc

I have a hotel recommendation in BKK (4+ star; £35/night inc. excellent brekkie) - Anantara Sathorn - which I will write up a review of soon. I am also heading to Krabi area in a few days, mainly be based on Ko Phi Phi and in Ao Nang, but will make notes and try to add some recommendations when I come back!

We have booked the Sheraton in Bangkok and the new Centara Anda Dhevi in Krabi.
Very good rates on both for UK travellers for this summer right now.
