Default late dinner

We are arriving in Phuket on a Wednesday night at 8.30 and have booked a car to take us to The Katathani. Since we are flying Jetstar and the reports of the food served on board are not positive, we will want dinner when we get to the hotel. I know that we will be able to get room service but I was wondering if anyone could tell me if any restaurants would be open in Kata late at night. I know that I could probably get a meal in Patong but I don't really want to go all the way in there after our flight and would like something local. I know there are two casual restaurants near the Katathani does anyone know if these will be open, at I guess around 10.30-11.00pm ?
Thanks to anyone who can answer my questions.

Cheers
Michelle

Hi Michelle,

Why dont you give the katathani a quick e-mail about your querie, im sure if they have finished serving by then they would accomodate you somehow. Im trying my best to think what time the restaurants are open till but just cant think. Have you looked on thier website at the restaurant page? may give you a clue.

I email them all the time with requests and they always get back to be quite quickly.

Hi Michelle, I've eaten late at Kata Mama Seafood , which is just over the hill from The Kata THani and overlooking the beach. If that is closed you will find that there will be something open until at least 11.30 along the road, within walking distance. Otherwise, I am pretty sure that the room service menu will still be on at that time.

Thanks Shanek,

Kata Mama sounds good. It's just a bit difficult when I don't know the place and then to arrive late at night. Much easier to get your bearings in the day time but it's all part of the fun of a holiday.

Cheers
Michelle
