Default Favourite Thailand (or general) Travel Apps?

Last year we took our iphones with us to Thailand and found them very useful for looking up trains, planes, hotels and things. We picked up a local data sim (my wife's phone was unlocked) which reduced the cost.

We used the air asia app, tripit (will warn you if flights are changed, delayed etc), trip advisor and the BA app.

This year we'll be using dropbox too - just sync your useful info to it and you can pick it up where ever you have an internet connection.

Any other recommendations for useful travel apps - especially those related to Thailand?

I've only just got a smartphone and never travelled with one (and don't plan on doing so, either - I bring a laptop instead), so don't have any specific recommendations. But I would imagine a language app could come in handy, especially one that could play useful phrases or words. It's not so much of an issue in Thailand, where the command of English is generally very good, but I've had situations in countries less well-versed in English where I've needed a word but not had it to hand.
