You have a few options. A taxi from BKK airport to Hua Hin will be around 2000to 2300 baht. You can also get a mini van from Victory Monument in the city- they leave when they are full and the cost will be around 350 baht from the airport via taxi to Victory Monument and then around 200 baht for a seat in the mini van. If you have luggage you may have to buy 2 seats. Drivers ability varies considerably and the trip will be around 2.5 hours, sometimes less depending on the driver. You can also go to the bus station and get on an express bus- they leave regularly. Also a train from the BKK main station - there are a couple a day, but its a slowish trip. There are also good private tranfers available on the net -Oriental Escape for example, charges around 2700 baht one way- drivers are good. Julies taxi, similar price with good drivers and they will pick you up from the airport. (both of these are on the net). If you can afford a taxi or private transfer then this is a good option if you are arriving around midday, so by the time you clear customs, immigration and baggage etc this would get you to Hua Hin around 4-5pm.
