Default Hua Hin Baht Bus

Hi all

Do 10 Baht Buses run the Number 4 route (Petchakasem Road) from Hua Hin up to the airport (and vice versa)? The place I am considering is up near the airport. Not the best location but if it's accessible I don't mind.

cheers
Steve

Steve

I have caught one to the hospital from the starting point in town. My recollection is that when they leave the hospital they turn around and come back. They may be another that goes further but I am not aware of it. However the hospital is reasonably close to the airport and this may be ok for you.

“ Green Baht Bus ”

Just a bit of info on the new timetable an prices:

Runs from mid section of night market to Kao Takiab (bottom of mountain) - same place to airport and of course return.

Schedule: 7am first bus from all 4 points to 9pm last bus from all 4 points. Runs every 10 mins from 7am to 7pm and very 15mins from 7pm to 9pm.

Cost: 10 baht per person between 7am and 7pm and 15 baht per person between 7pm and 9pm. Of course the cost is the same no matter where you get on an off the bus.

You will easily recognise the bus because apart from being green it is the one where every body is hanging off the back

Great service at a great price and anything which usurps the tuk tuk bandits is very welcome
also run in between Cha-Am and HH

Songthaew

Quote:
Songthaew go from one beach to another and are especially convenient for going from Hua Hin to Cha-am and the popular beach at Ao Takiap. They operate like buses and follow more or less fixed routes. Fares are very cheap and usually run around 10 baht. If you 'charter' a songthaew as your own, it will cost much more. Songthaew to Ao Takiap leave from the intersection of Sasong and Dechanuchit Roads and those to Cha-am (north) and Pranburi (south) from the main highway of Phetkasem Road.
