Wishing all of you a very happy and healthy 2012. I think that the forthcoming year is going to herald economic misery emanating from southern Europe and a few other places.

Therefore, I think that if the economic tsunami that has been predicted by the "experts" eventuates, then 2012 might a very good year in which to travel as hotels, airlines and tourism operators will be sharpening their discount pencils like never before.
