Default Christmas and New Year in Ao Nang??

Hey my fiance and I (mid-20s) are travelling through Thailand, however we are here in Krabi town until 2 Jan 2012 and are looking to see if anyone knows of any good places to go to celebrate and have fun or if any travellers are up for meeting up, we'd probably head to Ao Nang, as not much seems to be going on here in Krabi town lol

Cheers :)

Hiya Serendipity, how are you getting along on your travels so far? Worth the long wait and the planning? I bet!

CathyP might be able to give you a heads up on Krabi/Ao Nang, as I remember from her reports that she stayed there. But I always had the impression that Ao Nang was even quieter than Krabi?

How about getting the ferry over to Ko Phi Phi for a change? Should be quite a few travellers over there, I would think..?

I'm heading that way myself next year so I will let you know what I find, though it will be too late for you then

Hi Steve :)

Lol yes very worth the loooooong wait and planning, having an absolute blast, thanks!!

Ideally Phi Phi is where I would like to be for new year, however money is tight so we need to stay here, but all is good, we have met some nice folk and will be bringing in the new year with them :)

Thanks, again for your time and advice. Hope you have a great new year also

Serendipity :)
