My Daughter and her husband travelled extensively in Thailand this year before meeting up with us and she was pregnant and had no problems.
Just use your common sense as you would at home. Use a good mosquito repellent as required, especially at dusk and in areas where there are mosquitos. Don't overdo the ones cotaining strong concentrations of DEET.
Don't drink the tap water and don't swallow it when showering. Use bottled water when cleaning your teeth.
Don't eat shellfish, especially the uncooked variety such as oysters, which can carry a range of nasty bacteria. Keep away from the street food unless you are confident about it (I wouldn't eat it as a matter of course when holidaying in Thailand, but the locals have a stronger constitution than us and can probably handle some minor bugs better than us travellers.
Be wary of eating salads and fruit that cannot be peeled. Places might say the salads have been washed and they probably have, but in tap water. Hotel hygiene (in decent hotels) should be of a higher standard and their food washed in purified water. Ask if in doubt.
Take some antiseptic hand wipes to use after using local facilities and after touching things in shops and using public transport etc.
There should be no need to be anxious if you just be careful about overall hygiene issues. Enjoy your holiday.
