Default Khao Yai National Park

Hi everyone,

It's my first time to Thailand. I'm planning on going to Khao Yai National Park (Pak Chong), did some reading on the net and it looks really good. Just wondering if anyone has been there? I have a few questions to which I cannot seem to find straight answers, so I hope someone can help me

1. From Bangkok, it appears the bus will be quicker to take than the train, but I also read that you can go by minivan from Victoria Monument. However it doesn't say how long the ride is, does anyone know how long it would take, would you recommend and prices? also, are the buses comfortable enough?

2. I also want to go to Chiang Mai after, is there a direct route from Pak Chong to there? Also, would it be better if I went to Chiang Mai first and then Pak chong to make transport any easier?

Ok hope to hear from you guys:)
