Hi Everyone, really enjoying the information I am getting from this forum, though I doubt I will go to Phuket!! ha ha sounds scary though my sister raves about it (she bought a timeshare there, say no more!!) She is also an Absolute member! So I am not sure about her judgement anyway! Though they seem happy with it.

We are going to Bangkok and Koh Samui in February next year and I have taken on board about spending a few days in Bangkok at the beginning and the end of our holiday - here's the thing. My fabulous husband hates airports with a passion, is there any other way to get to Koh Samui rather than fly?

The accommodation I am looking at in Bangkok is the Dusit Thani Hotel and in Koh Samui Sandalwood Villas - anyone stayed in these places - are they as good as they look on the Internet?
