hi there, we are travelling with a family to thailand during the songkran festival 2012.. is there anything we 'need' to know to make this time more memorable!?
Thanks for that. any other recommendations of places to visit particular markets etc?? we are mainly staying in phuket but are hiring a car to head to krabi for a few days and would love some local knowledge!
Which is the busiest day out of the festival? Is it the first day (Friday the 13th!) or any of the others? I'm planning on booking accommodation till the 15th, but will I be able to find somewhere to stay or even extend for the 16th, 17th while I'm out there? (I'm going to be in Chaing Mai)
