I have a 1 week window of opportunity whilst my daughter is on a rare week with her thai mum in sydney, havent been to thailand by myself for years without the kid (khao jai)
I usaully dont ravel for a short time like this.I is september 23- 2 oct where is the weather ok just wanting to lay by the pool or beach part of the day and sit at bars people watching the rest,
im a backpacker type especially bymyself.
Where can i go,at a reasonable price dont care if it rains part of the day,Bali is also an option

Hmmm your old haunt Ko Phangan might still be dry (just)? What about Gili Air or the Perhentians? You might just escape the beginning of the rainy season there too.
