Thats your decision Tesh.
We have travelled to many of these areas and have not had any specific vaccinations and certainly have never been asked to prove we have been vaccinated, so in our case, we have found it not to be neccessary.

Ok :)

my bf would be most pleased to hear that we don't have to do any vaccinations, thats for sure! Can I also ask you shanek, if it's worth spending Christmas in the north, for e.g. Chiang Mai or is it best to head to one of the islands as I've read from all the posts?

Do you have any such experience? We like the party ambience don't get me wrong but wanna experience something more traditional, even though I am aware that Thais are buddhists and there is probably no such tradition in celebrating Christmas but, would be nice to experience something where alcohol doesnt dominate the scene as much as the full moon party sounds like!

thanks:)
