Flight from Bangkok to Phuket

Hi guys

We're new to this whole travelling business, and we've just made a mistake in some flights we have booked from Bangkok to Phuket, as we were supposed to be flying from Bangkok to Chaing Mai... completely chose the wrong destination as we werent thinking properly.

weve found out we can change the dates but not the destination, gutted!!

We called the guys up at air asia and they said that as well as being able to change the date, we could change the names on these flights effectively to sell them on as we cant actually use them, otherwise were out of pocket!

Is there any chance somebody needs a flight from bangkok to phuket?? This can be at any time as we can change the time and date of departure, just not departure and destination airport!! There are 2 tickets with 20KG of baggage allowance to be used per person.

Its a shame we didnt make this mistake earlier as we would have found this site much earlier lol!

Any help would be great and much appreciated!

If you don't end up selling them you can sort of bank them for use on another trip etc. As it is Air Asia it would not have cost very much at all so the fee you have to pay to bank them would probably be higher than the tickets are worth.

If you haven't booked your transportation for Chiang Mai why not just fly to Phuket for a couple days just for the heck of it? You can arrange your Chiang Mai visit around the little trip to Phuket. From Bangkok to Chiang Mai the overnight sleeper train is popular.

Check the baggage and carry on weight allowances for flying on Air Asia. If you do use Air Asia your Bangkok Hotel might hold a bag for you if you ask. There is a left luggage office at the airport too.

We have plans in Chiang Mai, thats the problem, and a flight from Chiang Mai to Phuket is just as expensive as changing the original flight. To be honest, Cathy is right, its not a huge amount so its not the end of the world if we just dont use the flight, but we wanted to try get it back to spend in Thailand lol.
