Talking Going 10th Sept flying with Emirates

Didnt think it would happen but off to Thailand in sept. Gooing to Dubai, Thailand, Cambodia and Hong Kong. Being to thailand loads and never being to the rest so cant wait. Got a really good deal on flights from Newcastle to Dubai, Thailand and Hong Kong for 800 euros. Dublin to Thailand cost me 800 in Jan so really happy about these prices.
Worst weather inDublin all summer so had to get away, was trying to save up all my holidays and go to Aus in Jan but that dream is over for now.
By the way booked it on there website Emirates airlines. Couldnt beleive it. It was working out at 660 euros for Newcastle to Thailand including all taxes so very good price.
Going to stay in Bangkok for three night, was going to stay at The Shangri-La it was 104 euros on asiatravel but will stay at The Pathumwan Princess because it seems more central and we eat there for a snack in Jan and it seemed nice. Has anyone stayed there?
And Samui for seven nights havent decided yet where to stay.
Cant wait.

They are heading to Bali to meet us in Oct then they come back here to Aus with us for a few weeks then in to BKK for a week on their way home.Hubby and i are tossing up suprising tham by maybe going to BKK with them.
They can't wait to get a break from the weather over there either!
Have a great time.

Hi Garrett - yes I have stayed at Pathumwan Princess for three nights and thoroughly enjoyed it. I am sure that you will simply love being that "attached" to MBK (tee hee). Buffet breakfasts were great and all in all as far as Bangkok goes, the accomodation was lovely.

We stayed at Chaba Samui in Koh Samui and that too was really central and simply gorgeous.

Cheers matey...

Just Wondering your Ticket Cost was quite really Good Price. In Thailand my Last Flight to Europe via Kuwait City was much high than what you paid with Kuwait Airway, I never fly with Emirate Before. I 'll have a look at the website again.

Anyway welcome to Thailand!. Enjoy your holiday.

Oh green with envy. Hope you enjoy every second, and you will. Flown with Emirates a few times. Not quite as on the ball as they were at one time but I think good nevertheless.
Trying to sort out for December/ January got a flight going Xmas day for 615 squid that I did not think was bad. Not booked yet though.

We spent 6 nights at Pathumwan Princess last month and loved it. Being so close to the MBK was great for shopping and eating at 6th floor food court.

They have a happy hour 2 for 1 drinks in the afternoons and an amazing cocktail list. The pool area is nice and tropical for a city hotel.

There's some fantastic restaurants in the little sois around Siam Square, so cheap and great food.
