Default dental

Pattaya international hospital, soi 4 just down a little from second road on the left.Second floor is the dental department and doctor Ari (female) is a lovely pleasant dentist.
Just rock up and if possible you will be looked at there and then and then given an apointment for any work needed. very cheap compared to australian prices and also very good.
Ted

You won't have any trouble finding a dentist in Pattaya and the prices are very reasonable. At Easter when we were in Pattaya I needed to see a dentist and the hotel receptionist recommended one who turned out to be very good. I didn't need to make an appointment - was seen virtually right away.

Re. duty free - it will be cheaper for you to buy it in Thailand - duty free shops at airport have good prices and even the local supermarkets and 7-11 shops will probably sell alcohol and cigs cheaper than you would get in your home country.
As an example, last week I flew from Bangkok to Melbourne and because of the new laws re. liquids, couldn't buy duty-free alcohol at Suvarnabhumi - had to buy it on arrival in Melbourne. Cost difference? cigs at Bkk duty free 500 baht a carton, same cigs in Melbourne 52.99 AUD - that's 3 times the Bangkok price. 1litre single malt scotch at Bkk airport 1600 baht, in Melbourne $62AUD - almost twice the price. Enough to make a grown person weep!
So it's much better value to buy your grog and cigs on arrival in Bangkok.
