Thumbs up Shangri La Bangkok

I think I am going to book this hotel for our stay from 1/5/08 - 1/9/08....anyone have any feedback on this place? From what I have read it is very nice and centerally located (exactly what we are looking for)!

Smile The La

Stayed here two years ago and might be going back to Thailand in 6 weeks if things go to plan and will stay there again. It is one of the best hotels in Thailand. The restaurants and the bars are great as well. The breaky in the morning is the best I ever got and they bring your tea in a silver pot. You can also just get a river taxi to the sights just down the river and it’s a great adventure.
The Oriental is only next door as well for a look and they have some lovely restaurants as well.
Stayed in The Four Seasons last year and not a patch on The La. Book it and look forward to it as it is fantastic.
