Green Park Resort is a nice hotel as it was member of Sunhine Hotel in Pattaya city. Pattaya Beach is unlike Phuket and Bali, But Entertainment I could say is much more exciting. Many Nice Restaurants International and lot of Shopping Malls to make shopping.
I'm not sure if Gree Park allow to do drinking around Pool, but why not if you stay at their accommodation.

Anyway as I say don't expecting to see clen beach at Pattaya But if you go to the near island like Koh Lan, you could see very clean beach and many water activities, such as Para Sail, Water Ski, Snorkeing, Submarine or Sea Walk(Never Try Before).

Any inquiry information you need to know I would be appreciate to help.

Sharon,

I would think you would be able to watch the AFL G/F.ABC Asia Pacific (not sure what they call themselves now)have done it previously. I also remember watching a wallabies test in `02 in a bar in Pattaya. Most big sporting events are covered in Pattaya(and elsewhere in Thailand) due to number of foreign men there.

I don`t see why you can`t drink your duty free around the pool but some places are funny that way.Away around it that I found in Samui was after buying beer from the 7/11 just order something to eat from them.

The Aussie $ to the Thai Baht at the moment is 28.78.

Hope this helps

Jamie

We are up to 29.00 and climbing according to Bangkok Bank yesterday

Just remember to buy your baht when you get there as you get a lousy rate here in Oz.
