Default Asian Restaurant on Soi 7 above Foodland

Can anyone please tell me the name of this restaurant, accross the street from Armani Hotel?
Many thanks for your help!

Amari Boulevard Hotel is on Soi 5 not Soi 7. The Foodland Supermarket is across from the Amari. (The Took Lae Dee Restaurant is in this supermarket and open 24 hours.)

Amari Boulevard Bangkok - 4 Star Sukhumvit Hotel at Nana Skytrain

Can't recall what is over the Foodland.

Hope this helps.

Oh yeah, just down from the Amari is the Fortuna Hotel on the other side of the street. That hotel has an "all you can eat" breakfast buffet that is open to the public for around 139 baht. Breakfast at the Took Lae Dee will run around 68 baht for eggs, choice meat something, toast with jam and butter, juice and coffee.

Good luck.

On top of Foodland on Soi 5 is the Rooftop Beer Garden. It does some very good Thai food and other snacks, but as the name implies, it is more renowned as a watering hole. That is the only eating/drinking venue above Foodland, as Koonel notes, it is on Soi 5 - not Soi 7.

Thanks for the hepl guys! Neither is the one I am thinking of. You look directly out of the window onto the front of the Armani, to the right facing the hotel there is a beer garden of the hotel, then to the right of that a walk through mall. It goes through to the beer bar on 5, comes right out in front. The prople who I was trying to find this for have decided not to go to Thailand, too dangerous says Canadian foreign console. Sorry to see Thailand is such sad shape, wonderful place!

You do mean the Amari Boulevard Hotel not an Armani style clothing store - right?

"The prople who I was trying to find this for have decided not to go to Thailand, too dangerous says Canadian foreign console. Sorry to see Thailand is such sad shape......"

It is too bad that the Canadian Consulate is not up to date on what is happening. Many millions of tourists have visited Thailand since the last demonstration ended. Even during the past demonstration tourists were still flying into Thailand. Suppose you use this same reasoning for Canada because of political problems come up in Nova Scotia would that mean tourists should not visit Quebec or Ottawa or some other area of Canada???

Too many good places to wine and dine at in Bangkok to be stuck only on one place place anyway. If a visitor can find Sukhumvit Soi 5 or Soi 7 they can do their own exploring.

Good luck.

Yes the hotel not the store. Directly accross the street and above Foodland, guess it really doesn't matter now, just bugging me to not be able to recall it.
I agree that too much misinfo by news and Canadian Embassy, I have been there at the height of problems and found nothing out of the ordinary.
