Talking Massage in Phuket

Hi guys,

Just wondering if any one can tell me were we can get a good massage in Phuket, but not overly priced? My Mum and I are really looking forward to some pampering!!!

tarsh, cheap massage is available everywhere in Phuket. You will find it hard to avoid. I havn't had too many Bad massages but some are certainly better than others. This is generally more due to the masseuse than the venue so it would serve no great purpose in recommending a particular place.

I tend to avoid the beach massages and head to the "dedicated" massage shopfronts that are air conditioned rather than the beauty salon that offers massage on the side.

Prices tend to be cheaper the further you go away from the main beach road at Patong. Around 200 baht an hour is the going rate at these places for a Thai Massage, more for oil.

if you really want pampering go to the spa just north of Thalang - my wife swears by it will try to remember the name it has a coffee house attched where I wait for my wife and her thai friend to emerge with smiles on there faces - maybe I am naive LOL
