Default What a great way to store/share your travel memmories!!!

Hi All,

I have been absent from the Forum for some time now, as after many years of travel to Asia, Thailand in particular, we decided to break with tradition and go on holidays in the USA.

Now that my post travel blues have subsided, somewhat, I am ready to hit the forums again and try and help anwser any questions where my previous travel experience may be useful.

What I have come across that everyone here should look at is a fantastic site called blurb.com, who provide you with software that can turn all of your travel journals and photo's into a book that you can then have them print and send out to you. I have just finished one on our 5 week trip to California. If anyone would care to take a look (YES I KNOW, IT'S NOT THAILAND BUT I HAVE JUST STARTED WORK ON LAST YEARS TRIP), you can preview it here.... Search Results | Blurb

It is extremely easy to create something that will get all those digital photos into a format that will look great on your coffee table. Give it a go.

Dont get put off by the price. Mine is over 160 pages and in the largest format, but if I paid to print 400 photos it would cost a similar amount. Smaller books will start as low as $30.

Great trip! You packed more in a month than many pack into a lifetime.

I wish I knew you were visiting the Midway. I would have pointed you to the Fish Market Restaurant, next to the kissing statue. They make the best fish tacos are a very reasonable price, amazing for bayside dining.

Yes Curt, it was an amazing experience. I was absolutely blown away by how diverse and beautiful that part of the world is. I will certainly return one day.

I had some pretty good Fish Tacos in La Jolla at a nice place across the road from the Travelodge that we were staying at. There is so much Mexican food available in SoCal, some of it very good and some of it terrible. I will try your recommendation when I go back.
