Default Anyone for Prawns???

Yesterday we went to the Banzaan fresh produce markets to do some food shopping. The selection of seafood, meats, vegetables etc is fantastic. Though it was the seafood section I wanted.
Gary was going to cook dinner last night so we bought a kilo of big prawns for 350baht (I put a fork next to one of them so you can see the size), plus a kilo of a slightly smaller prawn for 200baht!!
Any seafood you buy here you can then take upstairs to their food court and have cooked for a small price.
Far better than paying top prices at ripoff seafood restaurants etc.
Also bought some of the yummy bacon you get here, its so cheap, so looks like Im in charge of breakfast tomorrow!!!!
Heres the photos of the markets and food

Karen,
The markets are in Patong, near Jungceylon. I dont know the name of the little road they are on but they are easy to find. We went through Jungceylon (the first section) through the open area into the 2nd section where Carrefour is and out the entrance where the donut place is. Theres lots of little food carts on the road and behind them over to the left you will see Banzaan.

You will love the sailing day with Mark, its one of the best days we have ever had in all our trips here.
Cathy
