Help contacting Ko Lanta Where Else?

Hi there, first post on these forums so please be gentle.

My girlfriend and I leave for Thailand on the 2nd August and we have most of our accommodation sorted, apart from Ko Lanta. We really wanted to stay at Where Else but I'm having a hard time finalising my booking.

I originally sent an email to them and we exchanged two emails finalising the booking and them asking for payment via bank transfer (remittance). I spoke to my bank and they want to charge £20 to send £100 over to Thailand

. So I emailed them back and have had no response.

I have tried contacting all the telephone numbers I have found for them, but have never got an answer.

Anyone able to give me some clues on how to contact Where Else so I can guarantee my booking, or should I just chance it and arrive on the day with a copy of the email?

Did you ever get this sorted? I wouldn't pay £20 just to send them £100 either. Maybe ask them if they take PayPal?

Personally if you can't get hold of them, I would wait until you arrive and just turn up... how busy can it be in August? Hardly peak season...

We fly to Bangkok today. Would have asked for paypal if we ever got another response from them. Just going to then up like you say and see if we. An get in. If not then try wherever is next.

Hey! I'm having the same issue. I arrive in Lanta March 30 and Leave on 2APR10 and can't get a hold of them....:( If you have any luck let me know.

I have stayed at Where Else before and they maily operate on walk in basis.

By the way, I just got back from Koh Lanta and there are WAY better place to stay than Where Else, but I'm not sure what your budget is. The beach there is really rocky and imo Klong Dao, Long Beach, and Klong Nin are all way better.

If you need any advice, don't hesitate to ask!
