Default browner

I think that i am browner after a week in Cyprus than a month in Thailand. Me on the right and Suze on the left.

By the way I have gone blonde since I came home on Monday.

They are supposed to have more fun........ do they?

Jackie

It was a bit hard to get brown on Samui from a hospital bed & all it did was rain before that.

I find it amusing that we anglo saxons want to be brown & the brown people want to be white

they could have brought me a sun lamp whilst I was lounging on my hospital bed!
I have nearly made the mistake of buying moisturisers with whiteners in them in Samui and other places in Thailand. Oh what a disaster that would be.

Default Whiteners! / Prickly heat!

Nearly did the same myself bought nivea and was merrily slappin it all ova when noticed it was a whitener!

You can imagine the hysterical screaming and scrubbing that ensued from the suite at the hilton!!!

Just a quick one! anyone else suffer from pricklyheat? Got it once in Samui years (8) ago and ever since then have it everytime! Thought Id gotten away with it in phuket but no...........forearms looked like a mountain range! Rest of me bod was untouched..ooer......... tried everything, saunas, piriton, burying myself in sand.........guess I just have to grin and bear it!!

Biggest niggle was the bumps always go down on the flight home (cabin pressure and skin dehydration) and leave a horrendous freckly in reverse typ effect............

Yuk!

This is going to sound really idiotic but the best treatment for prickly heat is --good old fashioned white toothpaste---trust me I know--have been that soldier.
As for the whitening moisturisers have nearly been caught out there too---wondered if i pursued it would it have made me glow in the dark
p.s Jax the tan looks superb.
Cheers laurs

In thailand they sell a priclky heat soap and talc. Dave gets it and this is the only thing that works for him. The soap and talc is something like 15 baht each or something really cheap. It smells a bit medicated but hey if it works. The other one we were recommended was Piz buin allergy suntan. That worked for a bit but not as long asthe talc and soap do. available in most supermarkets.
