Well they call them mossie bites so they must have teeth or a tooth---but hubby tells me it's a long thin probe called a proboscus.little buggers. They inject an anti coagulating agent into your skin and this is apparently what causes the itchys---geez i didn't realize Mickey was so clever.
Cheers laurs

Tip to put the mossies off - tea tree oil. Also calms the itching.

If you use the soap or shower gel your skin builds up the resistance as they don't like the smell. It was recommended by a fellow traveller and it works for me!

Wow you are definately brown, makes me look lke a ghost!

Gary had severe prickly heat in Bali, arms, back, chest a few years ago. Then he got it again a couple of years ago in Phuket, arms only, I had it for the first time last year same thing arms & shoulders only.
Ever since Bali we always take good anithistamine tablets with us, eurax creme and prickly heat powder.

We have been lucky this time been here a month and havent got it, but boy its horrible like icepicks stabbing you.
