Nothing. There are some occassional bombs and grenades that are going off, but you gotta be really unlucky to run into one of those.

During the Vietnam War "" protesters would use blood to deface or decorate government installations. Their blood or pig blood I don't think anyone did a blood analysis of any "spilling" to verify that the blood is human.

UPDATE

No real problems with Red Shirts for months now. Things are mostly back to normal now.

Bangkok has a little rain every now in then between bouts of sunshine.

Airport Rail Link in use and running to midnight. For only 15 baht you can take this train to Pratunam area Phaya Thai or Makkasan stops.

Thanks for the update koonel. I am going to unstick this thread now since things have calmed down for a few months, but when things flare up again (and sadly, we all know they will) I will stick it back up to the top.
