Dear all,
Next week I am jetting off on my hols - I'm going to Japan for seven weeks that will mainly be spent in rural areas. Can't wait! But it means I won't have the usual access I have to the internet, and so the secret behind-the-scenes stuff I do (zapping spam, approving new posts from new joiners) won't be done so promptly. ShaneK our other moderator does a sterling job at keeping the forces of evil spam at bay when I am in the Land of Nod, but it's unfair for me to bundle all the workload on him and so I am asking for volunteers to step up as moderators to help us.
Ideally you will be a regular (or semi-regular) visitor to the forum with a fair few posts under your belt and hopefully an opposite timezone to Australia (where ShaneK is), so the clock is covered, so to speak. The workload should be low - when you log in, you just need to approve or deny a few posts based on whether you think they are genuine or not. That's it. Should take all of 5 minutes, especially if there are a few of you.
I can't offer much in the way of compensation, unfortunately - but you will get a bottle of wine or gift voucher at Christmas as way of a thank-you
Just send me a message if you are interested... I'll be very grateful for any volunteers to keep the forum running smoothly whilst I am off gallivanting in Japan!
Thanks

Steve
