Default wish I could find the right solution-your help would be appreciated :)

Having been to Phi Phi in April 2004 we are returning again this year 2010. We are a group of 4 adults and two teenagers 17&14 years.

My problem is that the boys thoroughly enjoyed their snorkelling adventures and are keen for a repeat experience! Then we stayed at Phi Phi Natural so just walked out from our balcony & straight into the sea into snorkelling territory! I would like to stay somewhere different this time but with a similar set up for snorkelling if that's possible. Clean, scenic and good food would be really nice and a balance of quiet and going out. We intend to go out on long tails to all the different islands as we did so successfully last time.

What are your thoughts for somewhere to stay with the above considerations on Phi Phi?
Can you snorkel straight off Koh Lanta - had thought LaLanta at the southern end. Would also do the longtail thing & go to Ngai & Rok etc.
What do you think of either 2 nights Koh Lanta and 3 in Phi Phi as we fly into Krabi & out of Phuket. Or 3 in Koh Lanta and 2 in Phi Phi??
I seem to be going round and round in circles because of the lack of choice re accommodation & the snorkelling requirement. Thanks for your help ;)
