Hi,
My mate is traveling to thailand this summer and i giving him the names of a few places, bars etc i enjoyed. There is a bar in phuket near patong which has loads of pool tables the decor is like being in a cave.they also have rooms to rent.I cant think of name or exact location and am having trouble finding it online.

Default bar

Hi rbuk,

Try using Mapjack, you can virtually walk through the many streets of Patong and you might recognise the bar.

Was going to suggest Google Maps Streetview, but MapJack kinda blows that idea out of the water. Looks like an API that integrates Google anyhow.

Nice site to add to the toolkit!

Hey Michelle, thanks a million for that mapjack link!
Do you have any idea how long ago the Phuket section was created? I'm just curious if there is much change since it was completed.

I still think its Tiger Inn (not Tiger Bar or Tiger Disco etc), looks like a huge cave, lots of pool tables, plus they have rooms to rent, this link has lots of photos of the place.

Sorry FBI, I don't know how current Mapjack is for Phuket because I haven't been there for about 18 months. Maybe someone who has been there recently would be able to tell you. It's really a great tool. Brings backs loads of memories and I'll be able to refresh those memories in person in another couple of months when I go to Khao Lak for 10 nights and then to Kata for 20.
